The first listing of Wind Mobile SA shares on NewConnect took place on 12th October. The overall amount of 3,270,415 shares of B and C series were listed on the stock exchange. In June, the company earned 3 million PLN on privately issued shares. These financial means will spend on investments in mobile advertising, mobile entertainment and international expansion.
Wind Mobile is known particularly for being the leading provider of value-added service platforms for mobile operators. The “Powered by Wind Mobile” logo has been displayed on many products already introduced for existing customers, and Wind Mobile technology solutions are familiar to millions of mobile phone users. Apart from a friendlier waiting time solution, thanks to Wind Mobile products, subscribers receive missed call notifications, important information when crossing borders, or they can top up their pre-paid mobile phones using short codes.
For over two years, Wind Mobile has been developing the VAS Force department, whose function is to outsource the value-added service management for mobile operators. Thanks to the innovative technology, as well as Wind Mobile’s staff’s passion and involvement, operators can safely transfer some of their business activities to the partner and benefit from the guaranteed increase of efficiency.
In 2011, Wind Mobile began to work on Halo Ads – a mobile advertising system based on ringback tones. The goal of the company is to make – for the first time in the world – this kind of advertising medium available for the subscribers of all mobile networks operating in a particular market.

The controlling shareholder of Wind Mobile is the IIF Ventures B.V. fund managed by Rafał Styczeń, who at the same time holds the function of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The second biggest shareholder is Middlefield Ventures, which is a part of Intel Capital group. Intel Capital, located in Silicon Valley in California, is the biggest technology fund in the world which invests in the most promising and innovative companies in the world.
