In the last few weeks many companies from all the countries in the world had to face dozens of problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Compared to other industries, such as hospitality, commerce or fashion, IT businesses are less susceptible to the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Soon after the first cases of coronavirus were reported, Ailleron took the necessary steps to prepare tools and infrastructure suitable for Work from Home model that was to be introduced in the company shortly after. Since March 16, all of our employees have been working remotely and, thanks to that solution, we did not experience any loss of productivity due to relocation.

There are no reported cases of COVID-19 among Ailleron employees. We have not experienced an increase in employee absenteeism due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. In those unfavorable circumstances the company does not plan neither the workforce reduction nor the pay cuts. In some areas, like HotelTech, we expect a greater risk of lowering revenues, but in others, like Fintech, we see the potential for growth due to the characteristics of our products and significant increase in interest in that type of solutions.

Ailleron has a stable customer base, which has not suffered from negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic on its operations and pays its liabilities in a timely manner, which means that the Company has no problems with financial liquidity.

However, we are aware that there is a number of external factors that may affect Ailleron’s operations and financial results. Therefore, the company’s Management Board and managers maintain contact with business partners and monitor all areas of company operations on daily basis.
