During the Marketing Directors Congress, Wind Mobile presented their innovative advertising medium called HaloAds. The new medium makes use of recommendation tools allowing a precisely selected consumer group to be reached.
Short attractive advertising content is played while waiting for a telephone call. The participants of the program receive free minutes and an SMS in return for recommending selected products to their friends.
HaloAds enters the market at a very good moment. We are intending to extend the network range to reach over one million consumers before Euro 2012, and thanks to viral marketing tools, this range may increase significantly. For advertisers, this will provide a unique opportunity to reach consumers at the time when ATL media are saturated. We encourage innovative advertisers and their partners to start cooperation with us. The HaloAds service, based on recommendations like no other medium, allows the advertised brand to be associated with the positive energy of the Euro 2012 finals. I find the results of the initial talks held during the Marketing Directors Congress optimistic. We cooperate directly with the advertisers and agencies, but we are also intending to invite a partner for co-operation who will help us build the critical mass for our service. I am convinced that the business model of the service developed in cooperation with T-Mobile will introduce a new quality to the mobile advertising market and, in consequence, it will help the other operators to join our service. Our goal is to be the first company in the world to offer a product available for all mobile network operators in the country. Google has recently announced its interest in the advertising technology based on ringback tones. We are proud to be two steps further, as we are already offering the end product. Wind Mobile is an unchallenged leader in Europe in the field of entertainment ringback tones sold under operator brands. This gives us a unique position to turn haloAds into a worldwide hit, says Jan Wójcik, HaloAds brand manager.
