The iLumio system has been launched in the PURO Gdansk Hotel. It is the third implementation for the PURO Hotels chain of a product created by Software Mind, a member of the Wind Mobile Group.
The customers of the PURO Hotels have been benefiting from functionalities of the iLumio system in hotels in Cracow and Poznan for a couple of months, and the PURO hotel in Gdansk will also join them in March. The system will be available from both TVs in the hotel rooms and multimedia tablets which in a modern way will allow controlling the automatic systems of the room, watching high quality television with a web browser, placing orders in the room service system or communicating of the hotel with its guest. The graphics of both systems have been fully adapted to the brand of the PURO chain.

A friendly and innovative interface and a wide range of functionalities bring the guests of the hotel into a modern dimension of relaxation and freedom. The system has been installed in 94 rooms. Tablets have been prepared to support each hotel point with iLumio, by means of which the guests of the hotel can freely control the settings in the room – among others the intensity of light, air conditioning, temperature, blinds or the TV system. Thanks to this a guest has the opportunity to create comfortable, preferable conditions for themselves, and thus – the opportunity for a comprehensive recreation, which translates into a satisfaction from the stay in the PURO Hotel. iLumio is a system convenient for the hotel, which has complete information and a tool for efficient management of the hotel offer and the work of its staff as well as for communication with its customers. The hotels that have invested in the iLumio system already in the first months after the implementation have recorded 39% growth in sales of services and have gained 3% more reservations compared with the results from previous years.
Current trends in the hospitality industry and rising customer expectations define a certain standard, an answer to which is the iLumio system. More and more hotel managers are becoming aware of the need for a solution that comprehensively assists in a professional hotel management. On the Polish market, we have approx. 300 four- and five-star hotels that claim to be modern facilities, and are therefore a potential candidate for the implementation of our solution – says Justyna Michalczyk, iLumio General Manager.
The PURO Hotel chain belongs to a Norwegian capital group “Genfer”. Currently there are four PURO hotels in Poland: Wroclaw, Cracow, Poznan and Gdansk.
