Wind Mobile has signed a letter of intent with Polkomtel Sp. z o.o. to provide an innovative voicemail platform and a new voice service for the Plus network.
Within the framework of cooperation, Wind Mobile will provide Polkomtel with a platform for next-generation voicemail, which will facilitate the implementation of voice services, to optimise and improve the quality of customer service, for both individual subscibers and business clients. The new platform will allow customers of Plus network to launch services that are an interesting alternative for people who want to stay in touch at all times. The services are, among others, access to voicemail from a mobile application, sending voice recordings as MMS and the option to send an automatic SMS notification, the contents of which can be selected when the unavailable recipient’s voicemail is reached.
Cooperation in this aspect will be implemented in the Revenue Share model, which engages the two parties, both in close co-operation in the field of product development and management of individual services.
Plus wants to provide its customers with the most attractive telecommunication products, and such are the new voice services that are now being implemented in collaboration with Wind Mobile. Their modern, intuitive and friendly form makes them attractive for the users of our network. The services by Wind Mobile also have an open character, allowing for future expansion of even more services. All these make them very attractive to us as a telecom operator and will allow us to work on new products that could utilise their potential in the future, says Robert Dudzik, Head of Product Development and Services with Polkomtel Sp. z o.o.
Wind Mobile has been working with Polkomtel for many years. Implementation of voicemail will be the next big project alongside service such as Czasoumilacz or Ad Server, which we carry out for the Plus network. We are pleased that our voicemail platform has been recognised by yet another operator, as this allows us to think seriously about selling this product outside our country. In addition, we carry out this project in the Revenue Share model, which is a strategic direction for us and expands our portfolio of platforms aimed at generating long-term, recurring revenue, says Tomasz Kiser, Vice President and Head of the Business Unit with Wind Mobile’s Telco Group.
