This year, subscribers of MTel, the largest Bulgarian mobile phone operator, a subsidiary of the Telekom Austria Group, will be able to listen to music while making calls, thanks to the implementation of the Ringback Tones Platform conducted by Ailleron.

Ailleron SA, along with its partner – Computer Resources International Group, based in Luxembourg, won the tender and signed a contract for the implementation of the flagship product – Ailleron’s RBT (Ringback Tones) Platform, which allows for the replacement of the alerting signal with music or any other audio file. Additionally, the company will be responsible for providing musical content to the Bulgarian mobile operator, enabling service subscribers to access the newest and biggest musical hits. MTel’s choice of the service provided by Ailleron confirms that the RBT Platform is currently the best solution available on the market. Very strong letters of reference from the T-Mobile Group and Orange Group, as well as the fact that the project is already mature and very scalable, make the solution desirable among mobile operators all over the world.

CRI Group through its Bulgarian Operating company will enter a partnership with Ailleron to implement the Platform. CRI will be responsible for carrying out the marketing strategy to recruit subscribers and promote the service.

The Bulgarian operator is a subsidiary of the Telekom Austria Group (TAG), which provides their services in Austria, Belarus, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Macedonia.

“We signed a contract for the implementation of our RBT Platform in a revenue share business model, which we prefer. This means that instead of a single lump sum paid at the time of sale, we will see revenues from every ringback tone set by each subscriber of this operator, and we expect first incomes later this year. We believe that an implementation carried out in one of the countries with a strong TAG presence will open the doors for us to new implementations on foreign markets in which the Group operates. The cooperation that we established will surely reflect in the effects of our dynamic expansion with our products and will strengthen our position on the international market” – said Tomasz Kiser, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Ailleron SA.

Currently, the services of the Telecom Austria Group, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange, are used by approximately 23 million subscribers in 8 countries.
