Ailleron signed with Wild Arctic Resorts Oy Group of Finland an agreement for the implementation of the iLumio mobile application at two hotels. The application will allow for booking rooms, fully automatic and contactless checking in, opening doors with a smartphone, and making mobile payments for hotel services and meals; it will also provide a number of marketing and operational facilitations, such as a live chat, questionnaires, booking of attractions, etc.
The agreement is an element of a larger project by Wild Arctic Resorts Oy that consists in smart solutions for its hotel chain and, at the same time, is in line with its expansion strategy that assumes adding more resorts over the next two years. The group is planning to open more hotels in 2022 and 2023, with the iLumio application implemented there, as well. The contract also opens up the possibility of selling other Ailleron products within the same hotel chain, including iLumioTV and interactive kiosks.
“This new agreement is a step towards an expansion onto a completely new market. For years, Scandinavia has been an excellent business partner for Polish companies. Today, we also open a path into a very good market. We believe that this new implementation will contribute to acquiring more clients from that region. Our platform offers integrated handling of all screens presenting interactive information to hotel guests; continued access to a multimedia entertainment center, a mobile application, and smart management of BMS devices in facilities; as well as booking of rooms. All of this translates to better sales of the services offered by the hotel. I am positive that iLumio will soon make its way to the hotels and other facilities in Scandinavia,” Dawid Ślusarczyk, General Manager for iLumio at Ailleron S.A., says.
The first hotel at which the application is to be implemented is Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän, whose history goes all the way back to 1658. The resort offers 140 beds for guests. The other resort is Saimaa Holiday Oravi, located in the heart of Saimaa, Europe’s largest lake district. It comprises 17 villas, an aparthotel, and several restaurants.
“iLumio is an original solution that is often selected by both new and existing hotels. Our tool has been implemented for instance within such chains as Hilton, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Puro, VALAMAR, StayCity LUX Collective, Crown and Champa, Sofitel the Palm, and Atlantis the Palm. The iLumio system works great with systems used to manage sports stadiums and medical facilities. It perfectly addresses market requirements in the post-CoViD hotel and recreation business,” Dawid Ślusarczyk adds.
