2. What Are the Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use the Website and any other similar technologies, such as pixel tags or local storage, used to collect information about your activity on the Website (hereinafter called as the: “Cookies”). Cookies may originate from the Controller or from the Controller’s trusted partners. Cookies are not used for the purpose of processing or storing personal data and by definition are not used to directly identify you. They also do not alter your browser settings or change the configuration of your device. The exceptional situations in which data collected by means of Cookies may be deemed to be your personal data, as well as your rights related thereto, are described in detail in the relevant section of the Privacy Policy.
3. What Are Cookies Used for?
We use Cookies primarily to enable you to access and facilitate your use of the Website. The Controller also uses Cookies for analytical and marketing purposes – only if you have consented to this when you first access the Website. We may also use other technologies and technical solutions to access information stored on your device or browser.
4. What Types of Cookies Are Used on the Website?
The Controller uses the following types of Cookies on the Website:
- Necessary Cookies – are installed to provide you with access to the Website and its basic functions. They do not require your consent. Without them, the Controller would not be able to provide services on the Website to users.
- Optional Cookies – the Controller only uses these if you have given your consent. These cookies are:
- Functional (Preferences) – they allow us to remember your preferences and choices (such as username, language, text size or other customisable elements) and provide you with personalised content within the Website.
- Analytical (Statistics) – they allow you to see the number of visits and sources of traffic on the Website. They help identify which pages are more or less popular and understand how users navigate the Website so that the Controller can improve the performance of the Website.
- Marketing – we use these to deliver advertising that is consistent with your interests and preferences. A profile of users’ interests is built based on the information in these Cookies and activity on other sites.
Information about the cookies used is available through the Cookiebot consent banner displayed on the Website.

6. How Long Are Cookies Stored?
The Website uses:
- Session Cookies – some Cookies are temporary files, stored until you log out, leave the Website or switch off your web browser. These types of Cookies help to analyse web traffic, to identify and resolve technical problems and to make it easier to navigate the Website;
- “Permanent” Cookies – some of the Cookies are “permanent” Cookies that are stored for the time specified in their parameters or until you delete them. They help us remember your settings and preferences to make your next visit more convenient or to provide you with tailored content.
7. How Do I Change my Cookie Settings?
The Website uses a Consent Management Platform (hereinafter called as the: “Platform”) to make it easier for you to manage your preferences regarding Cookies. The first time you access the Website’s web address, you will be asked to select one of the available options:
- Agreeing to all Cookies – by selecting “Allow all”,
- Agreeing to some Cookies – by selecting “Allow selection” and then being redirected to the Platform to customise the Cookies according to your preferences,
- Not agreeing to any Cookies – by selecting “Deny”.
You can change your Cookie preferences settings at any time via the Platform. The Platform allows you to:
- Obtain detailed information about the Cookies obtained on the Website;
- Give and withdraw consent to the Controller and its trusted partners to use optional Cookies;
- Change your pre-selected settings.
8. How Do I Change my Cookie Settings from my Web Browser?
Your web browser should provide you with the ability to change your settings to reject, delete or block certain Cookies. Giving your consent from the Platform to the use of optional Cookies by the Controller and its trusted partners does not deprive you of the ability to change your Cookie settings from within your web browser. The Cookie settings of the most popular browsers are available at the following links:
- Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
- Microsoft Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/manage-cookies-in-microsoft-edge-view-allow-block-delete-and-use-168dab11-0753-043d-7c16-ede5947fc64d
- Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=en&sjid=4107457563643124033-EU
- Safari: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/safari/sfri11471/mac
- Opera: https://help.opera.com/en/latest/web-preferences/
The user can also set their browser to accept Cookies on their own each time. The browser will then ask the user for permission each time before granting access for a Cookie. This gives the user control over what is on their device, but has the disadvantage of slowing down the ability to navigate the Website and other websites.
Any user may opt out of receiving targeted advertisements as follows:
- by using the NAI tool (https://optout.networkadvertising.org/), which will allow you to opt out of seeing targeted advertising from Us and from other approved NAI member companies,
- by using the Digital Advertising Alliance – DDA website (https://optout.aboutads.info/). We follow the self-regulatory principles for online behavioural advertising developed by this organisation,
- via the European Interactive Advertising Digital Alliance website (www.youronlinechoices.com). We comply with the guidelines for online advertising developed by this organisation.
When you exercise your opt-out option through the tools described above, please note that:
- we may still collect certain data about your online activity for purposes other than marketing,
- the opt-out options of other advertising companies may work differently from our opt-out options,
- you may opt-out of our tracking of your activity for advertising purposes at any time by using the “Do Not Track” option. We then respond to “DNT” signals sent from your browser. If a “DNT” signal is received on the website of one of Our advertisers during a user’s visit, We will not link the data collected to the user’s browser ID during that visit, so new data collected about the user will not be able to be used by Us for targeted advertising purposes, but previously collected data about the user may still be used,
- it is possible to modify your browser settings regarding Cookies at any time. Some Cookies are essential to the functioning of the Website, so changing your browser settings may prevent some services from working properly or even prevent you from using the Website altogether.
The user has the option of disabling the transmission of their data for analytical and statistical purposes via Google Analytics. To do so, you can install a browser extension by following the instructions provided at this address: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/181881?hl=en
9. Changes to the Cookie Policy
