On 5-9 May 2013, Wind Mobile took part in two important music industry events.
The first one was MUSEXPO 2013, a global annual meeting of the independent music industry representatives, which took place in Hollywood on 5-8 May. The other event was MusicBiz 2013 – a conference organized by NARM (National Association of Recording Merchandisers) and digitalmusic.org, dedicated to the problems of development, distribution and sales of music.
We are implementing new models for selling digital music. By developing Open Ringback, we are opening the way for solutions which have never been implemented in the music industry before. In this way, we want to be up-to-date with the latest trends and expand our network of contacts with music market participants around the world. Our presence at MUSEXPO and Music Biz was very valuable, especially in the context of the foreign expansion. Thanks to numerous meetings and the opportunity to establish informal relations with decision-makers, our one-week participation in these events allowed us to strengthen our position on the market in a very efficient way. Particularly important in this respect is the potential cooperation with members of A2IM (American Association of Independent Music), which will allow the expansion of the database of songs used in Open Ringback, says Tomasz Kiser, Vice President of Wind Mobile.
