ING Bank Śląski and Ailleron have signed an agreement and are starting a joint project aimed at implementing the LiveBank solution based on public cloud technology in the SaaS model. LiveBank, one of the flagship solutions of the Ailleron group, is a platform created for the financial sector, which enables the implementation of advanced remote customer service processes, e.g. via chat or audio-video connections.

Thanks to cooperation with Ailleron, employees of ING in Poland will be able to remotely manage clients’ affairs through efficient communication with the use of chat and video meetings. The Bank’s customers will be able to take advantage of the individual service of a selected specialist, book a meeting with that specialist and remotely purchase the Bank’s products, e.g. a mortgage loan. It will no longer be necessary to visit the traditional bank branches to complete formalities. In addition, LiveBank functionalities such as digital document exchange, screen sharing or joint filling and editing of applications, contracts and forms will greatly facilitate on-line communication and will allow strengthening the relationship between the Bank and its clients in digital channels.

“Bank customers today are demanding and expect individual solutions tailored to their needs, including, among others, the availability of services in convenient digital channels and a personalized service. The implementation of the LiveBank system at ING Bank is a response to these needs. Thanks to our cooperation, the Bank will provide customers with unique, multi-channel experiences, with professional advisor support. I am sure that this will translate into positive relations at every stage of customer contact with the bank. This is what modern banking is all about.” – says Marcin Dąbrowski, Vice-President of the Management Board and COO at Ailleron.

The cloud model, in which LiveBank will be implemented at ING Bank Śląski, will ensure much faster and more flexible project implementation. It will also enable its appropriate scalability for the Bank, as any number of licenses can be purchased without having to incur high initial costs. This is extremely important for such large projects. By using cloud technology, the bank gains the ability to manage resources much more efficiently, adjusting their use to current needs.

A third party to the agreement is OChK, whose task will be to provide the cloud service and support in ensuring compliance of the cloud services used with legal requirements and industry regulations, in particular those issued by KNF, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

The start of implementation works is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
