– financial institution with HQ in one of the Central European countries. The bank serves more than two million clients mainly in the DACH region.
PROJECT –
the Bank:
- decided to take on the upgrade of the legacy mobile banking app
- chose the most suitable technology aiming to achieve significant cost savings for future developments.
RESULTS
Ailleron prepared an initial analysis of the upgrade, identifying opportunities and threats behind:
- Flutter
- Kotlin MultiPlatform
- single app approach.
Ailleron prepared rough development cost estimates for the selected example feature using various approaches. Following discussions with the Bank, Kotlin Multiplatform was identified as the preferred framework, and Ailleron provided:
- Senior Mobile Architect role to lead the project from the technological point of view
- few other team members in programming roles to support mobile and backend development.
