At the beginning of June, LiveBank was presented at the conference regarding to digitization of financial services.
It is one of the biggest and most significant conference concerning with the digitization processes in banking sector in that region. The event gathered more than two hundred representatives of banks and financial institutions from Scandinavia and the Baltic countries, among which there were representatives of: Nordea, Ikano Bank, SpareBank, Danske Bank, Skandiabanken, Eika Group and DNB.
Tomasz Maciantowicz from Software Mind, appeared as an expert in video banking field and presented LiveBank explaining how virtual branch fits into the specifics of the Scandinavian market.
Bank consultants employed in one of the leading banks in the region, have a target to carry out several conversations with customers using video channel. Adding to the specifics of the inhabitants of this region, for which the most valuable is to contact “face to face” with an employee of the bank and statistically large distances to a bank branch, we see that video branch is a natural direction for the Nordic banking sector. Anyway, we were not the only company presenting the concept of virtual branch, but only LiveBank is a fully transactional solution and it fits into the business processes of banks – says Tomasz Maciantowicz Global Channel Sales and Marketing Director LiveBank.
Participation in the conference is another point of Live Bank strategy to enter international markets.
Scandinavia, where there is the world’s highest percentage rate of people using internet banking and the absorption of technical innovations is enormous, the introduction of virtual branches on a massive scale is only a matter of time.
