The iLumio system is used by an increasing number of hotels across Poland. Recently, the Holiday Inn hotel in Dąbrowa Górnicza and the seaside Almond and Rosevia resorts have joined the group of iLumio clients. The product made by Ailleron – a company based in Krakow – is also being implemented in foreign markets – iLumio was recently launched in the Swiss Alpenhof hotel.
The iLumio system is an innovative solution for providing hotel guest services as well as effectively managing entire hotels. It can be currently used by guests at the Rosevia hotel, which provides all guests with iPads with the iLumio application installed. Thanks to the app, they can quickly contact room service via chat, plan their participation in hotel events in the calendar, book a table at the restaurant, a visit to the SPA or the best spot at the pool – quickly and without having to leave the room. Starting from June, iLumio will also be available at the Dąbrowa Górnicza Holiday Inn hotel, which is part of one of the largest hotel networks in the world – the InterContinental Hotels Group. June will see the implementation of iLumio at the Almond hotel in Gdańsk.
The iLumio system is the answer to the current trends in the hotel industry and a perfect response to the expectations of demanding customers. We are constantly developing our product and adapting it to the individual needs of each client, depending on their expectations and requirements. Sometimes their ideas are very original, and we always try to fulfill them. Thanks to this, hotel guests can have a comfortable user experience, and hotel staff can have a professional management tool, says Justyna Michalczyk, iLumio General Manager.
iLumio has also been recognized abroad, and the system is now in use at the Swiss Alpenhof hotel. Integration of the system with the local Tourist Office or the skiing station, along with a map of ski lifts are only some of many original improvements offered by the hotel thanks to iLumio. The film library allows guests to watch specially digitized early 20th century films about Zermatt – the town where the hotel is located. Additionally, guests will be able to control room automatics, e.g. adjust lighting or temperature directly from the application, while also having access to a wide variety of international TV channels.
“We are developing and expanding our operations to foreign markets. Recently, we carried out a project for our Swiss client, but we are also conducting negotiations with hotels in other parts of the world, such as Germany and Dubai. The hospitality sector worldwide is starting to see the potential of cutting-edge systems, which directly correlates with Ailleron’s successes. The expansion to new markets strengthens our position and creates opportunities for establishing cooperation with new business partners,”says Grzegorz Młynarczyk, Vice-President of Ailleron SA.
