  • The dynamic growth of the Software Mind Group largely influenced the financial result.

„The Ailleron Group’s strategic goal is to develop two independent, profitable, fast-growing international businesses. The first area, carried out under the Ailleron brand, is IT services and solutions for institutions and companies in the financial industry. The second area is expanding a global software house with Polish roots under the Software Mind brand in a project implemented with the Enterprise Investors fund.” – says Rafal Styczeń, CEO of Ailleron SA. – „We are very pleased with the pace of development and the results achieved by Software Mind, and we look forward to further growth organically and through acquisitions. As for Ailleron, the entire management team is working hard to increase the profitability of this business in 2023 and to increase the scale of the business as part of the implementation of the New Development Strategy of Ailleron SA for 2023-26.” – adds Rafal Styczeń.

„The fourth quarter was another record quarter in terms of performance. This also translated into record results for 2022 at every level. In particular, PLN 17.7 million in net profit for the parent companyshould be highlighted (a 137% increase). In addition, it is worth noting the results achieved by the Software Mind Group itself, which in 2022 increased revenues to PLN 344 million (+124% y/y) and achieved PLN 59.7 million (excluding one-off events) operating profit (EBIT).” – says Tomasz Król, CFO, Member of the Board and CFO of Ailleron SA. – „We have also started implementing the New Strategy of Ailleron SA, where we emphasize improving profitability and the ability to generate cash. At the end of the year, the loss-making HotelTech business was spun off and sold, we have significantly reduced budgets for the development of our products in favor of service development, work is underway to limit cost growth, and we have signed an agreement with ING Bank to implement LiveBank in the Cloud model.” – Tomasz Król adds.

The Ailleron Group regularly increases its revenue structure and diversifies its revenue stream into new markets. In 2022, 76% of the company’s revenues came from exporting services abroad. Domestic partners accounted for a quarter of the gains. The group’s parent company, both in terms of the scale of operations and results, is the Software Mind Group, which includes dedicated, end-to-end IT solutions for industries such as e-commerce, online sports betting, telecommunications and life science.

„Software Mind, following acquisitions in Europe and South America, is an increasingly strong player in Western Europe and the US software development services market, employing about 1,200 high-level IT professionals. We are very pleased with the results achieved in 2022. Despite the observed slowdown in market dynamics at the beginning of the current year, we remain optimistic regarding the further development of our business. In the coming months, we do not exclude acquisitions in other markets, which involves making valuations of potential companies for investment more realistic.” – Grzegorz Mlynarczyk, CEO of Software Mind, explains.

After the sale of HotelTech, Ailleron SA’s operations will be focused on the FinTech segment. In FinTech, the level of realized revenue in 2022 was almost PLN 64 million (a 13.5% increase).

„Our new Strategy for the FinTech segment focuses on comprehensive software development services, supported by Ailleron’s ready-to-use platforms and components for the financial industry. We have over 300 high-level experts and executives experienced in building and implementing IT systems in large banks and financial institutions.” says Marcin Dąbrowski, Vice President and COO of Ailleron SA. – „As part of the implementation of the new Strategy, we want to significantly increase the efficiency of the use of our specialists by gradually shifting resources to projects billed in the time&material model. In addition, we want to accelerate revenue growth in the FinTech segment profoundly, and we are actively working to acquire new customers for our services and products. In recent months, we have signed, among others, an agreement to implement the LiveBank cloud platform for ING Bank Slaski and a software development agreement for VeloBank. We hope our actions’ effects will significantly and permanently improve our results over the next few quarters.” – Marcin Dabrowski adds.
