Die SGB Mobile App, built from scratch in collaboration with Ailleron, has once again earned industry recognition, securing its fifth nomination at the prestigious Mobile Trends Awards. This year, the app is competing in the “Mobile Banking” category. Online voting opens on February 11, 2026.
Every year, the Mobile Trends Awards jury recognizes companies that have achieved true excellence in mobile projects. IT and mobile technology experts evaluate innovation, user-centered design, and impeccable execution quality. For 15 years, these awards have recognized applications and campaigns that set industry standards. A nomination for the Mobile Trends Awards is a clear sign that the project deserves the industry’s acknowledgment.
The winners of the Mobile Trends Awards will be announced at a gala ceremony on March 26 in Kraków, honoring the top companies and mobile projects in multiple categories. While the jury will choose the winners from the shortlisted nominees, public voting also plays a role, giving projects extra points in the competition.
Ailleron and SGB-Bank Advance the Future of Digital Banking
One of SGB Mobile’s key features is personal finance management, helping customers track and organize their spending. Thanks to Ailleron’s transaction classifier, the app automatically categorizes operations – transfers, card payments, subscriptions, and local solutions like BLIK – into relevant categories. Users gain insights into spending patterns, track changes over time, and receive personalized alerts and tips to support informed budgeting.
In 2025, SGB Mobile introduced several new features to further simplify daily financial management. Customers can now:
- Open online currency accounts in EUR, USD, and GBP, ideal for travelers and those working abroad who want to avoid conversion fees.
- Use a multi-currency card, allowing convenient payments in multiple currencies.
- Access fully automated online personal loans, available to cooperative bank clients without visiting a branch.
While developing SGB Mobile, our goal was to turn the app into a true remote-services hub for customers of 141 cooperative banks who travel or carry out transactions in multiple currencies. We brought together the multi-currency card, accounts, and the SGB exchange service, and – through integration with various core banking systems – made these features available to all SGB Mobile users. Our ambition is for SGB Mobile not only to keep pace with market trends, but also to deliver intuitive, modern services that strengthen the competitiveness of cooperative banks in their local markets.
