Together for the Earth. Our partnership with Posadzimy.pl

Sustainable development and an innovative approach to environmental protection are values that are becoming increasingly important in today’s world. One project that combines business with a commitment to the environment is Posadzimy.pl. We began our partnership with this organization when we launched our ALLgood app . As part of our joint efforts, our employees can exchange the points they’ve earned in the app for trees, and we also convert the kilometers traveled by Aillerons during sports competitions into saplings planted in Polish forests. We spoke with Mateusz Chabros, a representative of Posadzimy.pl, about how the platform works, where the idea for it came from, and what benefits it brings to companies and the planet.

1 . Your business is growing rapidly, and you’re driven by a wonderful idea—so please tell us from the very beginning: where did the idea for Posadzimy.pl come from, and what were your early days like?

We’re glad you also find our mission beautiful! If we go back to the very beginning, the first company the founders of Posadzimy.pl built was ZnajdźReklamę.pl, which operates in the outdoor advertising market. Seeing just how much paper they had to use every day, they came up with the idea of planting trees for every advertising campaign they completed.

This concept was so well-received by customers that they decided it would be worthwhile to expand it on a larger scale—helping companies operate in a more sustainable way while, at the same time, strengthening their image, ESG strategy, employer branding, and other areas of their business. You could say that this was the moment Posadzimy.pl was born.

The beginning, as always, wasn’t easy. We had to learn everything from scratch, but thanks to a strong team and collaboration with foresters and experts, we were able to quickly develop an effective operating model. Posadzimy.pl began to rapidly attract the interest of more and more companies. In our first year of operation, we managed to plant just over 4,000 trees; the following year, we planted 33,000 trees; and in 2024 alone—204,780. This exponential growth in the number of saplings clearly shows that our mission to restore forest areas throughout Poland has been very well received by companies, as well as their customers and partners.

2. What a beautiful story—and amazing results right from the start! You can immediately sense a deeper meaning in this story. What is your mission, and what goals guide your work?

From the very beginning, Posadzimy.pl has made it its goal to plant trees responsibly. We make a point of emphasizing in our communications that we plant trees in accordance with scientific knowledge and all applicable regulations and guidelines. Our guiding principle is: “The well-being of the forest always comes first.” This statement encompasses a range of values that guide our actions.

First, we are restoring forest areas throughout Poland that have been damaged by natural causes—such as fire, strong winds, storms, or tree die-off. We plant only where foresters determine that the forest needs human assistance. We do not plant in areas owned by the State Forests; instead, we support municipalities, counties, and sometimes private individuals. Forest restoration would often be a major challenge for them, but thanks to us, the forest has a chance to grow anew—right now.

Tree species are selected by local foresters, who know the needs of a given forest best. In doing so, they take into account biodiversity and the principles of seed regionalism—which means that seedlings grown near the planting sites are used. The planting process itself is carried out by specialists from the Forest Service, who plant trees on a daily basis and know how to do so professionally. Thanks to these efforts, we provide the seedlings with ideal conditions so they can take root properly in the soil and grow for many years to come.

In the years that follow, we continuously monitor the forest. We are committed to replanting any seedlings that fail to take root at our own expense. After planting the forest, we stay in constant contact with experts and visit our forests to monitor their growth. The landowners have committed to not cutting down the trees for commercial purposes, so our partners can be confident that the trees will continue to grow for many years to come.

Of course, there are many more values like these. At Posadzimy.pl, we have a special position held by our colleague Bartek—he specializes in finding suitable sites, liaising with foresters, and constantly seeking advice from experts.

Our goal is to enable companies to take quick yet effective actions in the area of sustainable development. Tree planting at Posadzimy.pl follows the “You click, we plant” model—and that’s exactly how it works. It only takes a few moments to plant your company’s forest, and we take care of the rest.

3. I think that’s the key to our successful collaboration— a shared mission and common goal in our work. What unites us is our concern for the environment. And since we’re on the subject of nature— what specific environmental benefits result from your activities?

I have the impression that people have fully understood just how important forests are to the natural environment and to humans for generations. Care for the forest is deeply rooted in all of us. It is impossible to list all the benefits that come from responsible tree planting.

First and foremost, thanks to our efforts, areas that were once forested have the chance to become green again in a short time. Let’s remember that a forest is a complex ecosystem, vital for both flora and fauna. Planting trees offers the entire local environment an opportunity to restore biodiversity.

Every elementary school student knows what photosynthesis is. Trees need carbon dioxide to produce energy and oxygen. Their ability to absorb CO₂ is extremely important at a time when we are paying special attention to climate change and environmental protection.

I think it’s also worth emphasizing that planting trees brings not only environmental benefits but also social ones. The municipalities and counties we work with allocate the funds they save to socially beneficial causes. For example, as part of the “Fall 2024” campaign, the Gostynin county administrator committed to co-funding the purchase of a specialized vehicle for firefighters from the Gostynin County Fire Department. Another example is the municipality of Żary, where the decision was made to upgrade one of the playgrounds within the municipality.

Forests also have a very positive impact on our well-being and health, as confirmed by numerous studies. This is particularly important in the context of employee well-being, which is currently a hot topic.

4. You’ve managed to get many companies involved in your efforts, and the number of trees you’ve planted together is truly impressive! 😊 Tell us—how many saplings have you planted so far?

At the end of March 2025, we celebrated reaching another milestone: 600,000 seedlings since the start of our operations. The vast majority of them are already growing in Polish forests, while a small portion are seedlings that we will plant as part of the Spring 2025 Campaign.

None of this would be possible without our partners—we now have over 1,000 of them! We’re thrilled to have every organization working with us, because it’s thanks to them that our seedling count can keep growing.

5. It goes without saying that effectiveness and results are important factors that allow us to assess whether our work is effective and yielding tangible results. How do you monitor the effectiveness of your activities?

Our primary metric is precisely the number of saplings mentioned above. We strive to ensure that the number of trees increases with each subsequent planting. It should be noted, however, that fall planting campaigns typically yield higher results—and that’s when records are most often broken, as was the case in the fall of 2024, when we planted 109,600 trees at 8 locations across Poland.

The number of organizations planting trees alongside us is also important to us. We’re delighted to welcome each new partner who joins the ranks of companies committed to caring for the local environment. Responsible tree planting requires consistency, which is why we greatly appreciate companies that have made this practice part of their DNA. Regular planting is proof of a genuine and effective commitment to environmental initiatives.

I think it’s also worth mentioning the forest itself again. Here, efficiency is also very important to us—we make sure that every sapling has the ideal conditions to take root in its environment. That’s why we rely on the knowledge and experience of professionals during our planting projects.

6. The companies you work with are very diverse—ranging from e-commerce and beauty to IT. As you can see, anyone can help you plant Polish forests. Could you briefly explain how you collaborate with your clients?

We want to provide companies with a fast, simple, and beneficial way to make a positive impact on Polish forests. By planting trees with us, an organization not only supports the environment and the local community but also gains a range of benefits in terms of marketing, employer branding, building a competitive advantage, and increasing customer satisfaction.

With Posadzimy.pl, you can plant trees simply as part of your environmental initiatives, but also on behalf of your customers, employees, or business partners. To plant a tree, all it takes is a few clicks directly on the Posadzimy.pl website, and every Partner can count on a dedicated account manager who will suggest the best solutions, offer creative ideas, and assist with any questions.

We also provide our partners with a range of marketing materials. For every tree planted, they receive a visually appealing certificate that they can showcase in their communications. They can also place a special widget on their website that shows users how many trees the company has planted and highlights its commitment to the environment. We also provide photos and videos from the planting sites, prepare reports, and issue certificates confirming that everything was carried out as agreed.

In addition, we create sponsored posts, educational content, and, most recently, a series of webinars and interviews with our partners. And, of course, that’s not all.

It’s worth noting that our relationships with our Partners go far beyond typical business relationships. We collaborate on organizing educational webinars, conduct joint interviews, create joint marketing content, and discuss their needs. We often hear that it’s rare for a B2B partnership to work so well and that there are real people behind our business. That’s very nice to hear, and it makes us incredibly happy.

7. We have been actively collaborating since 2024. The initiative came from the ground up—from one of our employees. Thanks to the steps we’ve taken in the areas of environmental sustainability and ESG, we’ve noticed greater employee engagement and an enthusiastic response to the idea of planting trees. We truly appreciate our partnership with you. And how does it look from your perspective—what significance does the partnership with Ailleron hold for your business?

Ailleron is made up of specialists with whom we enjoy working very well. We are extremely pleased to be able to work for the benefit of forests alongside a reliable partner who—despite operating on an international scale—values local initiatives, such as planting trees in Polish forests.

8. At Ailleron, as part of our wellness initiatives, employees compete in sports activities, and we convert the kilometers they collectively earn into trees. Additionally, in the ALLGood app, employees can redeem points for a reward: a sapling planted in a Polish forest. How can tech companies (and others) become even more involved in ESG initiatives by partnering with you?

Your example proves that planting trees can bring together two pillars—the environmental and the employee-focused. As I said, there are plenty of ways to plant trees, and it really depends on the company’s needs which one it chooses. We provide the tools, and we encourage companies to take their ESG strategies further and implement additional measures.

For this reason alone, we launched the #SadzimyWiedzę series of free webinars, where we invite experts to share best practices for implementing sustainability within organizations. Of course, specialists from Ailleron also participated in a webinar on “How to Promote Employee Well-being in the Age of ESG.”

9. As we watch what you’re doing, we can see that you’re not slowing down. 😊 What are your growth plans for the coming years?

In the coming years, we want to consistently continue with the model we’ve developed, because it genuinely helps the environment and is highly regarded by our partners, such as Ailleron. We already have over 1,000 partners, and that number continues to grow. Once again, I want to emphasize that it is thanks to them that all of this is possible. That is why we believe that the number of organizations planting trees through Posadzimy.pl will continue to grow.

Our ambitious dream is to see the counter reach one million seedlings. Ultimately, all of this will benefit Polish forests, the natural environment, and society as a whole. The sight of more and more hectares of regenerated forests in Poland is something we hope to see in the coming years.
