Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and participate in the manual testing of LiveBank, a communication platform offering features such as chat, audio, and video communication.

We are looking for someone who already has practical experience in software testing and wants to further develop their technical skills in APIs, databases, and application diagnostics.

Your responsibilities:

• Manually testing the LiveBank platform and related applications.
• Testing new features and user stories delivered as part of sprints.
• Verifying issues reported by clients during UAT testing and as part of production support.
• Preparing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Testing the frontend layer and APIs.
• Analyzing requests, responses, and data in JSON format.
• Performing basic database data verification using SQL.
• Reporting, documenting, and retesting defects.
• Preparing test documentation and reports.
• Supporting the analysis of support tickets and production issues.
• Collaborating with developers, analysts, and other team members.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Experience in testing web applications.
• Basic practical knowledge of REST API testing.
• Experience with Postman or a similar tool.
• Ability to use Chrome DevTools.
• Ability to analyze data in JSON format.
• SQL skills sufficient to independently verify data in a database.
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL and/or Oracle.
• Ability to prepare test cases and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of basic software testing methods and techniques.
• Ability to properly document and report defects.
• English proficiency at least at B1 level, allowing you to work with technical documentation.
• An analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Accuracy, independence, and good work organization.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice to have:

You are not expected to have experience with all of the technologies listed below. Knowledge of any of them will be considered an additional advantage:

• Experience in testing desktop or mobile applications.
• Experience with SOAP / SoapUI.
• Knowledge of Fiddler, Burp Suite, or other tools used for analyzing network communication.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
• Ability to analyze application logs.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience working with JIRA.
• Experience with test management systems, e.g. TestRail.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Experience working in a team using Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
